A visitorship report by Peta Hanly, St Stithians College
The report investigates the transformative power of the Arts in education in order to build bridges between people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
The basis of the report was a paper titled South Africa: a cultural calabash. Re-imagining cultural identity through theatre. The paper was delivered in 2016 at the BIBAC (Building Inter-disciplinary Bridges across Cultures) Conference held at Cambridge University, UK.
