The ECD working group is delighted to release the 2023 version of The ECD and Junior Primary Curriculum Guidelines.
The project has been a collaborative effort with staff from St Stithians College, St Andrews School for Girls, Auckland Park Prep, St Dominics, St Theresa’s, St Martins and Eden College. Our sincere thanks to this amazing team for the hours of work involved.
The Guidelines have been updated to reflect the changes in education, especially since the Covid-19 Pandemic. A curriculum must always be dynamic, but at the same time recognise the foundations that are essential in the ECD and JP phases of education. The document is not intended to be prescriptive, but rather to create an alignment in our thinking and practice in ISASA schools.
