ISASA has developed a pro forma (template) equality policy for use in an independent school setting.
This policy is designed to recognise and uphold the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, which, amongst others, upholds the values of human dignity, equality, freedom and social justice in a united, non-racial and non-sexist society where all may flourish.
It is also intended to give effect to the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act 4 of 2000 (PEPUDA).
