Schools are always mindful of the current Consumer Price Index (CPI) when setting tuition fee increases. However, of equal importance is education inflation, which is often higher than CPI.
ISASA compiles a ten-year overview of CPI versus education inflation, year by year and cumulative. We are grateful for data provided by Statistics South Africa for this purpose.
