The information contained in these documents has been compiled to assist schools in understanding their obligations in terms of the Employment Equity Act. Its aim is not to replace the provisions of the EE Act and Regulations, but to offer a practical and simplified approach with reference to the most important aspects of compliance. In addition, schools are encouraged to refer to the actual legislative provisions, policy and the Codes of Good Practice available from the Department of Labour’s website.
