On 18 August 2022 ISASA circulated a memorandum regarding gazetted regulations for the mandatory display and submission of energy performance certificates (EPCs) by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy. A copy of the memorandum is available for download below.
On 19 January 2023, ISASA circulated a further memorandum to update members on the recently gazetted Amended Regulations for the mandatory display of EPCs for buildings gazetted on 25 November 2022 with Government Gazette No. 47569. A copy of this memorandum is also available for download.
The Amended Regulations extend the deadline for the mandatory display and submission of EPCs to 7 December 2025 from the previous deadline of 7 December 2022.
