Internet and Electronic Media Policy for Employees
Computer and electronic equipment is generally made available to school employees for the express purpose of the school’s educational and business use.
Employees are responsible for their behaviour on school computers and/or any electronic devices. Most schools expect employees behave in accordance with the Code of Conduct of the School and their contract of employment and to observe the rules that apply to computer, electronic media and internet usage.
This document outlines a pro forma policy for internet and electonic media usage in independent schools.
ISASA member schools are not required to make use of this policy; it is provided by way of example. As a Pro Forma (standardised draft) document, this policy should also be appropriately and properly customised by the user to suit their requirements.
