In Search of Africa’s Best Practices in Physics and Chemistry Pedagogy

A visitorship report by Pfarelo Mphaphuli, St Stithians College

The purpose of this report is to reflect on a visit to independent schools on the African continent from February to May 2019.

The main focus of the visit was to share good practice in science teaching – more specifically, the integration of theory, laboratory work and technology applications in the science departments of independent schools.

The visit also deepened the relationship amongst International Round Square member schools in Africa.
