A visitorship report by Thobeka Mbgambi, St Stithians Girls’ Preparatory
In May 2019, I had the opportunity to attend a short course at Harvard Graduate School of Education on Race, Equity and Leadership. I was also privileged to visit the prestigious Holton Arms Girls’ Private School in Washington DC.
The focus of my visit was to gain international perspective on inclusion, diversity and equity from renowned Harvard University Professors and lecturers, as well as review the diversity policies, guidelines and programmes of the international schools in America.
