Applications for the 2027 ISASA Staff Development Fund Awards are now open.
The Staff Development Fund (SDF) invites grant applications from staff at ISASA member schools. Applications may be submitted for the following purposes:
- African visitorships to independent schools in other African countries.
- International visitorships to independent schools across the globe and attendance at international conferences.
- Targeted research on issues related to independent schooling.
- Postgraduate studies undertaken at accredited international institutions of higher education.
Each application must be accompanied by a confidential letter of recommendation:
- For staff: from the applicant’s Head of School.
- For Heads: from the Chair of the Governing Body.
Please note: Applications from staff members at schools that do not contribute to the SDF are not eligible for consideration.
Applicants are advised to familiarise themselves with the SDF Rules before submitting an application. The Guidelines Document and Application Form are available for download below.
