A visitopship report by Ettiene Terblanche, Dainfern College
This visitorship report investigates attempts to address diversity in a sample of North American independent schools through institutional and curriculum policy and practice.
Learning how the North American independent school system has prioritised transformation, representation and diversity as the USA grapples with socio-political issues, and, in particular, the status and acknowledgement of minority groups and marginalised sectors of society, might be instructive for South Africa’s private education stakeholders.
