Overview
The Teacher Intern supports the academic, social, emotional and behavioural development of learners within an inclusive, neurodiverse educational environment. Working under the guidance of experienced educators, the Teacher Intern will gain practical teaching experience while contributing to high-quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and learning support.
- Differentiate teaching strategies.
- Support learner wellbeing.
- Assist with assessment and records.
- Collaborate with teachers, social workers and support staff.
- Participate in school activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- BEd (Intermediate, Senior or FET Phase)
- Majors: Natural Sciences
Essential Requirements
- Permanent SACE registration.
- Clear criminal record.
- Clear Child Protection Register check.
- Clear National Register for Sex Offenders check
