Qualifications & Experience

While we are not currently recruiting for specific teaching vacancies, we are interested in connecting with educators who would meet the typical requirements for future teaching opportunities within The Bridge School Assisted Learning School.

Prospective candidates would generally be expected to have: 

• A relevant degree (NQF Level 7) with PGCE or B.Ed. with subject specialisation (IEB preferred)

• Current SACE registration.

• A valid police clearance.

• Between 2 and 5 years of teaching experience.

• Experience teaching within an IEB environment is advantageous.

• Experience supporting neurodivergent learners and learners with diverse educational needs is essential.

• Experience in differentiated teaching strategies, accommodations and learner support.

• Strong computer and digital literacy skills.

• The ability to work collaboratively with learning support professionals, therapists and families.

• A willingness to embrace educational technology and continuous professional development.

• A commitment to learner-centred teaching and ongoing professional growth.
