SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST
(Permanent Position)
Available from 1 January 2027
Crossroads School, founded in 1966, is a remedial, English-medium, co-educational school for some 200 learners Grade 0-9, situated in Victory Park, and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of South Africa.
We are in search of a Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of therapy professionals. The services they offer will be to individual children, groups and larger classes.
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registration with appropriate professional bodies (HPCSA and SACE registration)
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist
- An excellent command of the English language
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent quality and efficiency in report-writing and feedback
- Experience in working with learners in individual, group, and class therapy settings
- Experience in working in a remedial setting would be an advantage
- Willingness to engage with duties associated with a school-based position
