SENIOR HISTORY EDUCATOR
Holy Family College, a growing co-educational independent Catholic school situated in Parktown, Johannesburg, invites applications from suitably qualified and passionate educators for the position of Senior History Educator in the High School.
We seek an innovative and inspiring teacher who will contribute to our dynamic academic team and create a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of creative teaching, the development of critical thinking skills, and a commitment to educational excellence and collaboration with colleagues.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should:
- Possess strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.
- Have experience teaching the IEB curriculum.
- Hold recognised academic and professional teaching qualifications.
- Have an excellent command of the English language.
- Be registered with SACE.
- Provide a Police Clearance Certificate and comply with the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO) requirements (assistance may be provided by the school).
The ability to contribute to additional academic subjects will be advantageous. Candidates are encouraged to indicate any other subjects they are qualified to teach, as well as their sporting, cultural, or other co-curricular interests and the skills they could contribute to the broader school programme.
