School Nurse
starting on 1 August 2026.
The ideal candidate is one who:
- has a Diploma in nursing;
- has a Basic Health Care qualification;
- is licenced to dispense medication;
- has a good understanding and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety issues;
- has 3-5 years’ experience, preferably with teenagers in school environments;
- has good communication and inter-personal skills;
- has excellent administration skills, e.g. accurate, meticulous record-keeping and scheduling ability;
- has passion and enthusiasm for the profession;
- is willing to work flexible hours to accommodate sport and boarding requirements;
- is able and willing to uphold the Christian ethos, Mission and Vision of the school;
- has evidence of clearance with the Child Protection and Sexual Offences Registers.
Highly recommended, desirable requirements:
- Ability to work seamlessly in a digital environment with proficiency in MS Office and Teams;
- Resourcefulness and assertiveness;
- Pro-active and client-focused;
- Active participation in the daily life of the school.
