Curro seeks to appoint Research Assistant (full-time) at Curro Centralised Office Western Cape in Bellville to commence duties in January 2027

Curro is seeking a Research Assistant to join our Marketing Department at the Central Office in Cape Town. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of research and insight projects across Curro by assisting with project administration, survey design, data analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will report to the Head: Research and Insights and work closely with the broader team to ensure high-quality research outputs that support Curro’s vision and growth.

Key performance areas

  • Assist with the implementation of research projects.
  • Build, test, distribute, and monitor surveys; maintain survey records and documentation.
  • Coordinate survey launches, communication with schools, and monitor response rates.
  • Perform basic analysis after data preparation and prepare detailed reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of research activities, including data collection procedures, analysis methods, and results.
  • Stay updated with the latest research methodologies to bring innovative practices to the team.

Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, Engineering, or related field with a strong academic record.
  • Advantageous: Honours degree in a relevant field; coursework or exposure to research methods.
  • Experience with research methodologies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting (final-year project experience acceptable).
  • Experience working with surveys, data collection, and reporting.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Advantageous: Experience using SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms, or similar platforms; exposure to education or market research environments.
