Pre-Prep Part-time Art Teacher
The above position is available from 1 January 2027.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification with a specialisation or experience in Art Education at
Foundation Phase level. - Have experience teaching and inspiring young children, ideally within a Grade 1 and Grade 2
class environment. - Demonstrate a passion for nurturing creativity and artistic expression in young learners.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Be able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Be a South African Citizen and a member of SACE.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach six Art lessons per week (three Grade 1 classes and three Grade 2 classes) over two teaching days.
- Undertake approximately one hour of preparation and planning per week.
- Order, organise and manage art materials and supplies.
- Monitor and manage the Art department budget responsibly.
- Assist with the visual and creative elements of school productions, exhibitions, and special events.
- Maintain an engaging, well-organised and stimulating Art learning environment.
- Support the broader life of the school where appropriate.
