PART-TIME HOCKEY COACHES

Are you passionate about developing hockey players, do you want to be part of building our legacy and have hockey skills and knowledge to share?
Somerset College is seeking motivated Independent Sports Coaches who prioritise interpersonal relationships and holistic student development in the hockey programme.
Requirements:
- The successful applicant should be a highly motivated, innovative individual, with a love and passion for hockey.
- Be available and punctual for all training sessions and matches. This includes tournaments, as well as travelling on school transport to and from such events.
- Coach and manage their respective teams.
- Officiate matches.
- Adhere to Somerset College policies.
- Deliver coaching programmes aligned with the sport’s philosophy and Somerset College’s values.
- Assist with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental matters.
- Be administratively competent.
- Regular operational reporting to the Head of Department and/or Director of Sport detailing logistical outcomes and potential issues related to sports coaching.
Service Schedule:
Services are to be rendered in accordance with the College’s training programme, typically conducted on weekdays between 09:00 – 18:00 with additional commitments on Fridays and Saturdays as necessitated by matches.
