REQUIREMENTS
- B.Ed/PGCE qualification recognised by SACE. SACE and Police clearance certification.
- A music qualification is an advantage. Experience as a Music Teacher.
- The ability to teach music classes for grade 1-7.
- The ability to develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum. Experience in conducting a choir and directing school musicals.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument. Strong vocal skills and knowledge of vocal techniques. Ability to read and interpret music scores.
- Passionate about music, creative and enthusiastic about sharing the joy of music with pupils.
- A willingness to work within the framework and expectations set by the PEPPS Trust.
- Must be willing to participate in extra-curricular activities, including choir. Ability to create school productions.
- Experience in an ISASA school is an advantage.
- A dedication to job completion and have the ability to work harmoniously with pupils, parents, staff and the whole school community.
- Be able to maintain the school’s confidentiality policy.
- All shortlisted candidates will be screened against the Sexual Offenders Register (Form 29/30).
