Maintenance Supervisor
Date of Commencement: 1 January 2027
St Mary’s DSG Kloof is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and capable individual with an open, friendly manner and a practical, hands-on approach. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder who is able to manage a team; effectively communicating in both IsiZulu and English.
Key Requirements
- Be qualified in or have no less than eight years’ practical experience in areas such as bricklaying, building, tiling, plastering, electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Be willing to learn new skills and follow instructions effectively from the Estates Manager whilst supervising various maintenance tasks.
- Be able to work independently on weekends to relieve the Estates Manager.
- Be a strong team leader.
- Be a positive, approachable, hardworking and responsible individual that takes pride in the quality of their work.
- Be committed to maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
Essential Requirements
- A valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s licence.
- Good health and the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- A willingness to lead and work as part of a team, additionally assist with general maintenance duties.
Advantageous
- A valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Additional trade certified qualifications.
