The Life Science Educator grade 8 – 12 will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative, and differentiated instruction based on the IEB curriculum and Assessment Standards. They must demonstrate subject expertise, integrate technology in teaching, and foster a positive learning environment.
The Successful Applicant Will:
- Have appropriate Life Science theory and practical teaching experience in an IEB school.
- Be a dynamic individual with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Have the ability to work creatively as part of a team of enthusiastic educators.
- Have motivation to meaningfully participate in a wide and varied cocurricular programme.
The Following Qualities and Abilities are Essential:
- Suitable teaching qualification and SACE registration certificate.
- At least 3 years of Life Science teaching experience at the matric level.
- The ability to work creatively as part of a team of enthusiastic educators.
- A passion for building healthy relationships while nurturing a love for Life Science.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to use various electronic media in the classroom.
