A position is available for a Learning Support Teacher Grade R – 2 from Jan 2027
Essential requirements (non-negotiable):
- BEd degree, Foundation Phase – must be completed.
- Honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Learner Support or Remedial Education or Educational Psychology (BEd Hons/ BA Hons in Psychology) would be an added advantage – current studies would be acceptable.
The applicant should:
- Have experience in teaching Foundation Phase.
- Have a significant level of computer literacy, including Microsoft and Google platforms.
- Have experience integrating technology into the classroom.
- Have the ability to develop and sustain new and progressive teaching ideas and work cooperatively with a strong team of teachers.
- Have strong people skills and work effectively with management, staff, parents and children.
- Have a significant understanding of the 21st Century child.
- Proof of registration with SACE and a valid Offenders Register clearance certificate will be required from the successful candidate.
- The candidate must be a “go–getter” with a passion for children.
