LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME

Full-time contract post, 01 January to 31 December 2027
United Herzlia Schools, an independent Jewish community day school in Cape Town, offers learnership opportunities for students studying towards a teaching qualification through distance learning, and for recent graduates.
As part of the Learnership Programme, you will work alongside experienced teachers, gaining hands-on experience in classroom teaching, planning, assessment and school life. Participants will receive a monthly stipend, plus a contribution towards academic fees and books.
Applications are invited from students and graduates specialising in ECD/Pre-Primary, Foundation Phase or Intermediate Phase teaching.
Successful candidates will:
- Be studying towards an ECD qualification, B Ed or PGCE, or have graduated recently.
- Be eager to learn and open to coaching.
- Be flexible and willing to assist in any aspect of teaching.
- Have a high level of ICT competency.
- Be willing to get involved in the extracurricular programme and broader life of the school.
- Live in Cape Town (own transport preferred).
