The teacher designs hands-on, inquiry-driven learning built around the NGSS Science and Engineering Practices, Crosscutting Concepts and Disciplinary Core Ideas. The aim is for students to investigate, reason from evidence and communicate like scientists, while developing a lasting love of discovery.

The Middle School operates on an 8-period rotating block schedule, and teachers are assigned to teach 5 of 8 blocks. Each Middle School Teacher is also responsible for an Eagle Forum cohort, which is integral to the Middle School experience as well as participating in our CWW, FLEX and Club programmes.
