Holy Family College is a 121 year old co-educational Catholic School in Parktown, Johannesburg. The school is looking for an innovative and inspiring Grade 4-7 English Home Language Educator to contribute to our quality team. Starting date is 1 January 2027.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Intersen Phase English Home Language.
- At least 3 years’ experience in teaching this subject from Grade 4-7.
- A passion for promoting literacy and a positive reading culture among learners.
- Sace registered.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Self motivated.
- While not essential, IEB experience would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a passion and enthusiasm for the Intersen Phase of the school, coupled with proven teaching skills and will be looking for a school where they can grow personally and professionally as they contribute to quality academic achievements.
