Intermediate / Senior Phase Teacher Maths and Afrikaans

Job Purpose:
- Grade 6 and 7 Afrikaans and Maths teacher
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (IP/SP) or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of teaching experience in the Intersen/ Senior Phase teaching these subjects is required.
- Extremely capable sports coach – able to coach a variety of sports
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge and skill regarding the teaching of Afrikaans as a First Additional Language, as well as solid mathematical skills and the ability to teach this curriculum with skill and success.
- Ability to think on your feet.
- Passionate about sport.
- Analytical and organizational skills for effective planning and problem-solving.
- Compassionate and student-focused with an ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching.
