HISTORY Teacher
Our History Department is seeking a young, dynamic teacher who is passionate about the teaching of History. The successful applicant is ideally expected to be able to take up the post at the beginning of 2027.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- fostering enthusiasm for History
- maintaining a high standard of pupil achievement in History
- maintaining the high profile of History within the College and
- contributing positively to our co-curricular and pastoral care programmes
REQUIREMENTS
- History teaching experience in the GET and FET Phase of a Secondary School
- An academic qualification and a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
- At least 3 years’ experience of teaching History up to Grade 12 level
- Registration with SACE is required.
- Police Clearance, Sexual Offenders and Child Protection clearances are all required to be submitted.

- assertiveness with flexibility;
- self-motivated with a strong work ethic; attention to detail; excellent inter-personal skills;
- sensitivity to a diverse student and staff population.
