Head of Chisipite Junior School, Harare

The Board of Governors of Chisipite Junior is looking for a new Head with a passion for girls’ education, who will safeguard the school’s history, traditions, and spirit, as it nears its 100th birthday.

Chisipite Junior is a multi-cultural Girls’ Day School of 460 pupils ranging from ECD to Grade 7. It is a family-oriented school that embeds all teaching and learning in a strong system of values with a Christian ethos, epitomised by the school motto Fons Vitae Caritas, meaning ‘love is the fountain of life’. Chisipite Junior is separate from the Senior School and operates on its own campus, with its own Board of Governors; but the two schools maintain a close association.

The new Head will be a well-qualified educationalist, experienced in leadership and administration in a school setting, and be a role model for the girls, staff and broader Chisipite family. He/ she will be committed to the delivery of a holistic and relevant education, interweaving strong academic foundations, with cultural and sporting pursuits to promote self-awareness and personal growth. The Head will be fully conversant with current and emerging practices in education and will be comfortable engaging with all school stakeholders.
