The role
Take full responsibility for a Grade 3 classroom, teaching the complete Foundation Phase programme in Afrikaans: languages, mathematics, and life skills. You will deliver systematic, explicit phonics and structured literacy instruction, build strong numeracy through concrete, hands-on experiences, and prepare children thoroughly for a confident transition to the Intermediate Phase — all within Thriveway, our holistic, child-centered framework.
Minimum requirements
- Fluency in Afrikaans — essential for this position
- Tertiary teaching qualification relevant to the Foundation Phase
- SACE registration
- Specialisation in Foundation Phase teaching; proven Foundation Phase experience is highly advantageous
