We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, creative, and dedicated Student Teacher to join our dynamic Future Teachers Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring educator to gain valuable classroom experience while completing their studies. The successful candidate should be available to commence duties as soon as possible.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree, or
  • An undergraduate student intending to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at a SAQA-accredited institution.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coaching one or more of the school’s major sports (advantageous)
  • Assisting with examination administration, including reading and scribing
  • Providing support at after-school events and other school activities
  • Reading and scribing during formal assessments (training will be provided and funded by the school)
