Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for Foundation Phase pupils. The role includes planning and delivering high-quality differentiated lessons that meet the needs of diverse pupils. You will also be assessing and monitoring pupil progress, fostering positive relationships with pupils and parents, integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning, and contributing to the broader life of the school through co-curricular involvement and active participation in school events.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant must:
- Be registered with SACE.
- Have a clear criminal record and comply with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register.
- Hold a recognised 4-year teaching qualification suitable for the Foundation Phase
- Have a minimum of four years’ experience teaching in the Foundation Phase.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Foundation Phase curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Be committed to supporting and promoting the Christian ethos and values of the school.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Be self-motivated, organised, and able to manage planning, assessment, and reporting effectively.
