Foundation Phase Isizulu Teacher

We are therefore looking to appoint an Isizulu Teacher in the Foundation Phase Department who will report to the Junior School Head.
This position requires the following skills, competencies and attributes:
- Have an appropriate university degree/ professional teaching qualification
- Be registered with SACE
- Must have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience teaching Isizulu at Foundation Phase level
- Experience in teaching Grade 4 or Grade 5 would be advantageous
- Have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Must have a passion for teaching
- Be creative, innovative, organised and well-motivated
- Be able to work under pressure, plan and meet deadlines
- Be computer literate and prepared to engage with 21st Century teaching methodologies
- Have the ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers, assistant teachers and the Head of the Junior School
- Be willing to work after hours and attend school meetings and functions when required
- Be committed to the extra-mural programme of the school
- Be committed to safeguarding and duty of care
- Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment
- Be required to uphold the ethos and traditions of the school
- Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register
