VACANCY: ENGLISH EDUCATOR – FET PHASE
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and suitably qualified English Educator (FET Phase) to join our academic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, a commitment to academic excellence, and the ability to inspire learners to develop a love for the English language and literature.
Minimum Requirements:

Relevant teaching qualification specialising in English.

Experience teaching English in the FET Phase (Grades 10–12).

Previous experience with the IEB curriculum is essential.

Valid registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).

Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
-
A commitment to learner development and high academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons.
-
Prepare learners for assessments and examinations in line with IEB requirements.
-
Set, mark and moderate assessments in accordance with curriculum standards.
-
Support learners in developing critical thinking, analytical writing and literary interpretation skills.
-
Contribute positively to the academic and cultural life of the school.
