Crossroads School invites suitably qualified and experienced therapists to apply for the post of
EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST
(Permanent Position)
Available from October 2026
Crossroads School, founded in 1966, is a remedial, English-medium, co-educational school for some 200 learners Grade 0-9, situated in Victory Park, and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of South Africa.
We are in search of an Educational Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of therapy professionals. The services they offer will be to individual children, small groups and larger classes.
The successful candidate must have:
- Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology
- Registration with appropriate professional bodies (HPCSA and SACE registration)
- An in-date police clearance certificate, sexual offenders register clearance, and child protection register check
- At least 3 years’ experience working as a qualified Educational Psychologist
- An excellent command of the English language
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent quality and efficiency in report-writing and feedback
- Experience in working with learners in individual, group, and class therapy settings
- Experience in the administrative process of identifying, applying for, and implementing learner accommodations and concessions
- Interest or experience in working with adolescents would be an advantage
- Willingness to engage with duties associated with a school-based position
