The Role: Pre-Primary Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate educational leader to join our pre-primary team. The ideal candidate will support the principal in providing strong academic, pastoral and staff leadership across Little Glens.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Principal in leading the phase and promoting the Trinityhouse Christian ethos, values and culture.
  • Provide academic leadership across curriculum delivery, teaching quality, assessment and school-readiness.
  • Manage, support, mentor and develop teaching and support staff.
  • Monitor learner progress and promote high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Promote learner wellbeing and maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and respond effectively to parent needs.
  • Support the effective day-to-day operation of the phase, including programmes, events and school initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of school policies, professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support learner behaviour and discipline.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant educational qualification at NQF Level 7 or above, preferably in Early Childhood Development, Pre-Primary or Foundation Phase.
  • Current SACE registration.
  • Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience, preferably within an early-years environment.
  • Proven school leadership or management experience.
  • Strong academic leadership, people-management, organisational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative, innovative and professional approach to education.
  • Commitment to the values of Trinityhouse.
