DEBTORS CONTROLLER

The ideal candidate should:

  • have a Diploma or certificate in Accounting
  • have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in debtor management, in a school would be preferred
  • have strong organisational and communication skills
  • have an ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • be proficient in MS Excel and Sage Pastel systems
  • have a knowledge of, and experience with, the legal requirements of POPIA & PAIA
  • ability to handle queries professionally and maintain positive relationships with parents, girls and staff
  • be able to assist in cash flow forecasting and reporting for finance meetings
  • be able to handle with discretion sensitive financial and student information.

This is a full-time role. The required working hours are 08h00 – 16h00, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, it will be a requirement, on occasion, to work after hours. Leave is 25 days which are to be taken during school holidays.
