We are seeking a passionate, skilled and dynamic Chemistry Teacher to join our Secondary (High School) School Faculty.
THE POSITION
The successful candidate will teach Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry,delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop curiosity, scientific inquiry, critical thinking and a love of learning.
The role will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons across the Cambridge curriculum
- Developing students’ practical laboratory and scientific investigation skills
- Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes
- Providing effective classroom management and pastoral support
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular and community programmes
- Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, safeguarding and student wellbeing
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Science Education
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge International curriculum
- Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to child safeguarding and professional standards
- Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry
- Demonstrated cultural adaptability and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
