Aftercare // Aftercare Supervisor
Start Date: 07 September 2026
This is a busy environment, which serves around 350 scholars. We pride ourselves on providing a caring and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve our scholars’ needs.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL
- Supervise children enrolled in aftercare.
- Maintain an accurate register of children attending aftercare.
- Oversee the lunch times of the aftercare children.
- Assist children during homework sessions.
- Ensure children are kept safe after school whilst attending different cocurricular programmes, etc.
- Liaise with parents and children enrolled in aftercare on a daily basis.
- Have excellent command of the English language – spoken and written.
THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND ABILITIES ARE ESSENTIAL
- Grade 12 certificate, South African citizen.
- Previous experience and or training knowledge working with children, 3-10 years old.
- Preference will be given to applicants studying towards a degree in teaching or a related field.
- Excellent people skills, well-organized, and energetic.
- Must enjoy working under pressure.
- A sound work ethic, no criminal record.
- Professional attitude and appearance
