John Lobban
John Lobban is a retired Educator. He spent thirty years in the public school education system where he was Head of Kimberley Boys’ High and King Edward VII School.
In 2004, he joined ISASA as the Director: Membership and operations, a position he filled for 13 years until his retirement. Post retirement, John worked as a consultant for a number of independent schools and a private equity firm. In 2019 He joined Teneo School as an online teacher, a position he held for four years until final retirement.
During his time at ISASA, John was responsible for the adaptation of the School Sustainability Workshop for independent schools in South Africa and served as the facilitator of the workshop for countless ISASA schools during his period of employment. He has now refined the workshop to its current form and will be facilitating it for interested schools.
