Hanette joined ISASA from Deutsche Internationale Schule, Johannesburg, where she was Head of Administration. She joined the Deutsche Internationale Schule in 2019 as Finance Manager, before she was promoted to lead the whole administrative function for the school, including finance.

A Chartered Account (South Africa), Hanette has extensive experience in financial management. She received her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Pretoria and her Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours from the University of South Africa (UNISA). From 2001 until 2007, she was a Senior Lecturer in Financial Accounting at UNISA.
