The Southern African Heads of Independent Schools Association (SAHISA) held a discussion forum for members on 26 February 2021. The guest speaker was Nolizwe Mhlaba from African Leadership Academy, who spoke on developing and encouraging entrepreneurship.
On Monday, 16 November 2020 SAHISA held an end-of-year meeting for all members. The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and successes of the past year, as well as bid farewell to several SAHISA members who are retiring or leaving the association.
On Friday, 23 October 2020, Dr Nic Spaull addressed the SAHISA Online Forum. He focused on the socio-economic impact of lockdown, especially in education, as well as issues that should be top of mind for independent schools.
On Friday, 28 August 2020, Dr Helgo Schomer was invited to address Heads during the SAHISA Online Forum. His talks range from how to handle the daily stress and strain of life, to persuasive communication to health behaviour modification.
