Senior School Music Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and innovative Senior School Music Teacher to join our vibrant school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who believes that music is not simply a subject, but a powerful way to develop confidence, creativity, collaboration and self-expression in young people.
The successful candidate must:
- Teach music across the GET and FET phases, inspiring pupils with engaging and relevant learning experiences.
- Develop students’ musical knowledge, skills and appreciation across a range of genres and styles.
- Encourage participation in ensembles, performances, concerts and other co-curricular music opportunities.
- Support and nurture pupils with a range of musical abilities and interests.
- Contribute creatively to the wider cultural life of the school.
- Collaborate positively with colleagues and contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking music department.
- Have the appropriate teaching qualification for the relevant position and be SACE registered.
- Be passionate about teaching and open to the implementation of creative methodologies.
- Manage the daily programme and timeously inform staff of timetable changes or special events.
- Be prepared to work according to the College’s ethos, specifications and policies.
