IT Asset and Print Controller

Purpose of the Role:

This role is responsible for the effective administration and lifecycle management of the organisation’s IT assets, including the procurement, tracking, maintenance, and disposal of equipment, as well as the day-to-day management of the printing environment. The successful candidate will ensure that IT assets are accurately controlled and that printers, copiers, and consumables are maintained to provide a reliable and efficient service.

You will join a diverse, technical team with complementary skills, working closely with the IT Manager and reporting on both asset status and print operations. The role calls for someone proactive, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years’ working experience in an IT Asset Controller role, and/or a minimum of 5 years in a high-volume network print environment;
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Windows, Word and Office experience;
  • General IT experience and exposure to an educational environment would be advantageous;
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and customer service orientated;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and engage effectively with staff;
  • Able to manage competing priorities, remain composed under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
