HIGH SCHOOL SUBJECT HEAD: VISUAL ARTS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, organised, innovative and dedicated individuals who possess the skills, experience and competencies to join our High School academic staff as Subject Head: Visual Arts.
The requirements for the position:
- A suitable academic and professional teaching qualification.
- A minimum of five years’ relevant teaching experience, with preference given to candidates with IEB experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide academic and curricular leadership within Visual Arts.
- The ability to design, develop and implement an integrated and progressive Visual Arts curriculum for the High School.
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to encouraging learners to participate in exhibitions, competitions, cultural events and other opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom.
- Registration with SACE.
- A willingness to embrace and contribute to the Catholic ethos and values of Maris Stella School.
- A willingness to participate actively in the broader life of the school, including the extramural programme.
