Our Candidate:
The Board of Governors is in search of suitably qualified, dynamic educators who are strong believers in the potential of every young person; who thrive on being innovative; who are excited to be involved in a school of the future; who will understand the dynamics of working in a community-based school with great aspirations.
The applicant for this position should be:
- Committed to professional development and the honing of their teaching practice;
- Able to integrate 21st century skills of collaboration and critical thinking into the curriculum;
- Passionate about education and leading a team of qualified professionals;
- Effective in communication and administrative skills;
- Computer-literate and able to integrate IT in the teaching programme, and
- Prepared to participate in pastoral, cultural, and extramural activities of the College.
Requirements:
- Qualified with a relevant B Ed degree / Diploma / PGCE or equivalent;
- SACE certificate;
- A minimum of 5 – 10 years’ Grade 10 – 12 teaching experience is preferable (preferably IEB);
- Experience as an HOD would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will commence duty on 1 January 2027 (negotiable).
