FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHER
The requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must have a teaching qualification (B Ed/PGCE).
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in the same/ similar position.
- Have an understanding and willingness to use an integrated teaching approach in the classroom.
- Computer literate with knowledge of smartboards and tablets.
- Have good organisational and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with parents and staff.
- Be prepared to be part of the school’s extramural and sport programme.
- A passion for teaching, strong classroom management skills and a basic understanding of the development of young children.
- An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team.
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school.
- All candidates are required to be SACE registered, obtain a Police Clearance, and have the necessary qualifications to apply for this post. Ideally, the candidate should possess South African Citizenship OR Permanent Residency.
