Curro seeks to appoint a Bursar (full-time) at Curro Midrand Sagewood in Midrand to commence duties in November 2026

Key performance areas

• Day-to-day management of the finances of the school under the direction of the executive head and regional accountant;
• Managing budgets;
• Monitoring of all income and expenditure relating to internal budgets;
• Preparing of financial reports for the executive head;
• Assisting at school functions when required.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Diploma or Degree in line with Bursar expectations and preferably with a major in Accounting, Financial Management, or Commerce. 3 – 5 years;
• Experience in a financial role, or as a bursar;
• Experience in accounting, cash flow management, debtors’ management and contract management (financial element)
• Experience in administration and payroll management;
• Excellent computer skills;
• Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills;
• A clear criminal record.
