Join our unique and thriving community as a teacher of Woodlands Creche and Pre-School. Nestled in a wonderful area, our school provides a holistic and enriching learning experience. From 6 weeks to grade 00, we embrace the ELDA principles, transitioning seamlessly into the CAPS curriculum, preparing our little ones for the transition to big school and preparing them for Grade R/0. We seek an experienced and dedicated Teacher to create innovative lesson plans and enhance the learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, enjoys working with children, understands how they learn and is dedicated to creating a nurturing learning atmosphere for every student.


  • Promoting a love for learning among students and staff.
  • Integrate curricula, offering a comprehensive and enriching educational experience.
  • Prioritise students’ emotional well-being and development, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the community to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Nurture assistants’ professional growth through mentorship and ongoing training in methodologies and curriculum.
  • Embrace our organic based setting, integrating the natural world into students’ learning experiences.
  • Ensure the classroom environment is safe, clean, and neat.
  • Monitor student performance and implement intervention strategies and support systems as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Attend parent meetings and relevant school functions.
  • Oversee students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, play time, during lunch, etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
  • Be registered with the South African Council of Educators.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in education, preferably in a pre-primary or preschool setting.
  • Strong knowledge of educational policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, inspiring and motivating others.
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and have a creative approach to teaching learners.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
