The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (The Academy) is a residential boarding school with just over 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. Grade 12 students write the Independent Examination Board (I.E.B.) NSC Examination.

Minimum academic requirements and experience
Relevant degree and a professional teaching qualification.
Proof of registration with SACE.
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Teaching up to Grade 12.
A passion for inquiry-based, student-centered
Working knowledge of the latest educational trends.
Willingness to learn how to use and to implement the Neurosequential Model of Education in your teaching.
The following will serve as an added advantage
IEB teaching, marking and/or moderation.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an individual and in teams.
